 A Non-Profit organization affiliated with HRC. A hunting retriever club that
is family oriented for all ages and gender. All breeds of dogs are welcome. The
club is designed to benefit the retreiver to be a better hunter and friend.
Along with the hunting retriever activities the club promotes conservation and
management of land and wildlife.
We have training every Monday evening at 5:30 on the
Hunts Point Club grounds.
Training starts in March or April until
September, there will be something for all ages and levels
of dogs. Watch the Events page for
when training resumes.
Every year the club host a hunting retriever
test. This hunt test is our main event for the
year. This year the hunt test will be held on
June 23rd & 24th. This
is a two day event that test the hunting retriever against the HRC standard.
There are three levels for testing, started, seasoned and finished. The dog is
tested on the land and water retrieves. The handler and dog are judged by two
judges according the HRC rules.
